Professor Jean-Pierre Hénichart

Professor Jean-Pierre Hénichart, Pharmacist, Doctor in Physical Sciences, and engineering graduate from ENSC in Lille, has held several high-level management positions in the field of drug discovery not only in research institutions (such as INSERM, Institute of Pharmaceutical Chemistry) as well as with leaders of the pharmaceutical industry (such UCB Pharma, Brussels) where he headed the Research Department. He is currently Director of the Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the Albert Lespagnol Institut in Lille and Professor of the University of Lille 2.

Author of more than 250 scientific publications, he has also received a number of high profile prizes and distinctions. His experience and competences in medicinal chemistry contribute to Genfit’s innovative drug discovery strategy.
