Prof. James Scott

Professor James Scott is currently Director of the National Heart and Lung Institute, Medicine (London - UK). His main scientific interests lie in the area of apolipoproteins and gene interactions in lipid metabolism. He has received many prizes and awards including the Graham Bull Prize in 1989 and Squibb Bristol Myers Award for Cardiovascular Research in 1993. His publications include numerous articles on molecular medicine, molecular genetics, genomics, atherosclerosis, RNA modification, RNA editing and gene expression.
