Sophie Mégnien

M.D., Medical Manager, Naturalpha

Having studied in several countries, Sophie Mégnien obtained her Medical Degree in Paris. She is involved in the areas of atherosclerosis, metabolic diseases and hypercholesterolemia.

Sophie Mégnien obtained experience in the pharmaceutical industry by doing her residency in the area of clinical trial monitoring. She has since held several positions in Medical R&D Departments, principally as International Project Leader with prestigious pharmaceutical groups such as Smithkline Beecham, Glaxo Wellcome and Bayer. After ten years of international project management, she became consultant in Quality and Process Management at Sunnikan Consulting, and afterwards joined Cardialpha, which designs and coordinates preclinical and clinical projects and regroups more than 25 opinion leaders in the fields of cardiovascular disease, metabolism and nutrition. Sophie Mégnien is currently Medical Director of Naturalpha.
